Irrigon Busted Mugshots
Irrigon sits along the Columbia River with 2,011 residents counted in the 2020 Census. That makes it Morrow County's second-largest city. No current city or county source lists a separate Irrigon police department. Instead, county board minutes describe a sheriff-services agreement. Under that deal, the city pays the salary of one Morrow County Sheriff's Office employee, so the right label for local law enforcement is MCSO contracted service rather than a municipal police agency of its own.
That arrangement shapes where the paper trail starts. MCSO documents an Irrigon incident, and any adult who needs housing goes to Umatilla County Corrections Facility in Pendleton, since Morrow runs no jail of its own. Arrest, custody location, and court venue sit in three different systems, and a search has to touch each one.
Where Irrigon Busted Records Appear
There is no city-run roster to check first. The practical starting point for current custody is the Umatilla County Sheriff CitizenRIMS arrest interface, because that system hosts the beds Morrow contracts for. Keep its limits in mind. It is a shared adult resource, so results can include Umatilla cases and other agencies, with no filter for Irrigon or Morrow only. Neither MCSO nor the host jail promises a same-day Irrigon booking feed or a full online history.
| Channel | Record stage | Official? | How it helps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Umatilla CitizenRIMS Arrests | Current adult custody | Yes | Search by name and use the all, last-two-days, or last-three-days view. Confirm agency or Morrow details where present. |
| MCSO Records Unit | Existing incident or sheriff record | Yes | Request a concrete record with names, date range, agency, and record type. |
| Morrow Justice Court | Local lower-level court matters | Yes | The Irrigon office is a court follow-up route, not a custody line. |
| OJD records search | Public Circuit Court case progression | Yes | Use after filing to look for public Morrow County case events and outcomes. |
| My Columbia Basin News | Event reporting | No | Agency-attributed stories are secondary context, not an arrest index or live custody confirmation. |
Oregon law adds a second reason an official photo feed is unlikely. A standard roster tracks identity and custody. Booking photos are different. Under ORS 133.870, law enforcement is generally barred from releasing them. So a listing with a blank image is not a glitch to outsmart. Read it as the statute at work.
Find Busted Irrigon Bookings
Start with the question that has a live answer. Is the adult in custody right now? From there, keep the sheriff record and the court file apart. For the full Morrow and Umatilla search sequence, see the county-wide custody and records treatment.
- Use the official Umatilla CitizenRIMS arrest page to search the name. The short-window filters are useful, but they do not create an Irrigon history or prove that every local arrest is displayed.
- Review the booking date, agency, location, number, and status when the interface provides them. A booking number identifies a jail transaction, not a conviction or court case.
- For a missing, released, or older record, contact MCSO Records and identify the Irrigon location, date or range, involved name, and the existing record sought.
- Use the Irrigon Justice Court office for its stated local jurisdiction and OJD for public Morrow Circuit Court progression. A court result answers a different question from a current roster.
- When a sentence has transferred a person out of local jail custody, use the ODOC Offender Search. It covers state corrections custody, not a newly booked Irrigon arrest.
Timing trips people up. A name can vanish from the current roster after release or transfer while the court case rolls on. The reverse happens too, with an OJD case still active long after local custody ends. Morrow's jail page notes that people may stay in Umatilla custody through their Morrow proceedings, then move via Coffee Creek to ODOC after sentencing. Custody status and court status are simply different things.
Irrigon MCSO Records
The records custodian for an Irrigon event is the Morrow County Sheriff's Office Records Unit. Name the person or event. Give an approximate date or range. Identify MCSO as the agency. Then ask for a specific document, such as an incident report, arrest report, or custody record. A pointed request gets a faster answer than a vague one, and it avoids asking for a record that does not exist in that form.
Records hours run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact options include MCSORecords@MorrowCountyOR.gov, records lines 541-676-2533 and 541-676-2534, and fax 541-676-5577. Posted fees are $15 for a report and $20 for a picture request. Paying the picture fee does not guarantee release of a booking image. The office still has to weigh ORS 133.870 and any other public-records restriction that applies.
| Custodian or system | Use for an Irrigon matter |
|---|---|
| MCSO Records Unit | MCSO incident, arrest, or county-created existing record |
| Umatilla County Corrections Facility | Ask about a host-jail custody or booking record under the contract arrangement |
| Morrow Justice Court or Circuit Court | Case progression, copies, and disposition under court access rules |
| ODOC | State-prison location after sentencing, if applicable |

Irrigon Contract Custody
Morrow's jail contract explains everything above. The MCSO jail page states the county has no correctional facility of its own. Instead it buys 600 bed-days a month from Umatilla County Jail. That works out to 20 per day. This is why an Irrigon arrest can land someone in a Pendleton custody search. It does not turn Umatilla's roster into a Morrow database, and most names on it will have no Irrigon connection at all.
The facility itself is the Umatilla County Corrections Facility at 4700 NW Pioneer Place, Pendleton, OR 97801, reachable at 541-966-3632. For the Irrigon incident itself, MCSO stays the right county contact. The jail's official page also points to Oregon VINE, which sends custody-status notifications. VINE offers no court decisions and no booking photos.
Note: The shared roster shifts with releases, transfers, updates, corrections, and new bookings, and no official Morrow persistence rule exists.
Irrigon Court Record Path
Need to follow up on a court matter in Irrigon? The Morrow Justice Court sits at 215 NE Main Street, Irrigon, OR 97844, and answers the phone at 541-922-4082. Weekdays are its window. Its docket covers misdemeanors, traffic cases, game violations, and similar matters. Treat it as a local follow-up option, not a custody search and not the records office.
County-level cases live elsewhere. The OJD Online Records Search is the right starting point for Morrow County Circuit Court, with live search fields that surface public filings, case events, judgments, and current status. Index details are free to look up. Copies are another matter: Oregon Judicial Department records requests follow court access rules, may require payment up front, and can involve confidential material sealed inside the file.
Know which office you are asking, too. A court request seeks a judicial record. An MCSO public-records request seeks an existing sheriff record. Neither one changes what the contract jail shows on its current-custody list.
Irrigon Busted News Reports
Irrigon rarely gets its own police press releases. Coverage tends to come from MCSO and regional public-safety reporting instead. The Heppner Gazette-Times archive runs recurring sheriff-report blocks listing locations, dispatch types, and outcomes, sometimes with arrest or lodging details. East Oregonian and the Hermiston Herald's regional log pattern mention the town as well. Each paper publishes on its own schedule. None of this works like a booking feed.
One Elkhorn Media Group story shows the pattern. It is an agency-attributed incident report with lodging and case details added later. That helps pin down an event date and the reporting agency. It will not tell you who is still in custody or how a charge stands today. For wider context, the Morrow County crime news record notes pull the sources together.
There is no standing Irrigon arrest blotter. No regular local photo inventory exists either. A headline naming the town is a lead worth verifying, nothing more.
Irrigon Booking Photo Rules
Oregon guards booking photographs more tightly than other arrest-record fields. ORS 133.870 sets the rule. It bars law-enforcement agencies from releasing an image except in listed situations. Those include release to the pictured person, for specified law-enforcement needs, to a criminal-case party or victim, for an agency-determined public purpose, or after a conviction on the booking arrest. That statute is why the official custody route is not a photo service.
An MCSO fee cannot override the law. A third-party listing is never proof an adult image exists, either. Ask the correct agency for an existing record. State your purpose and the record you want, then let the custodian decide. Juvenile records face extra restrictions and never appear on the shared adult Umatilla roster.
Custody lookups happen in two stages. Short-term stays show through the jail system. After a prison sentence, MCSO says people pass through Coffee Creek intake before ODOC assignment. An ODOC profile, when available, is an offender-location record. It is not a booking photo and not an Irrigon incident report.
